What & Why ExpoSpice?
Developed under Sri Lanka's "Lifelong Learning for Farmers" initiative by the Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL), ExpoSpice empowers export-agriculture stakeholders, closing communication gaps and extending vital tech knowledge to more than 300,000 farming families across 17 districts.
Part of a collaborative consortium includes the Department of Export Agriculture, the Department of Cinnamon Development, and local ICT experts — ExpoSpice combines academic rigor with real-world agricultural needs.

This allows anyone to learn about the export of crops, their development, and earn a certificate from the OUSL for their knowledge and skills.
Geolocation based product traceability and capabilities
The basic capabilities for the ability to incorporate geo-located product data, essential for new export market access, are in place and are being developed further.
